Luc Gaban (aka Luciano Paolini)is an Italo Australian musician and recording artist. Born in Francavilla Al Mare (Abruzzo - Italy) He migrated with his parents Gabriele and Nicoletta and brother Carlo to Sydney in 1969. Attended Ashfield Boys High in Sydney. He continued his personal studies through professional colleges. In his younger age played guitar with various groups in Sydney Metro. In 1979 a laceration to his right hand ended his artistic playing career. However when he realised that he couldn't continue his music career, he become a promoter/impresario and in 1984 he produced the first Classical Aria Concert in Sydney. The change in Classical music allowed him to continue his passion for music but his guitar playing was taking a setback as the feelings in his right hand fingers were lost. A career change around 1984 saw him produce his own weekly music radio program "Mainly Music" at 2SERFM studios in Sydney Broadway. Luciano continued studying at TAFE and formed his own marketing company promoting wine, spirits and perfumery. In 1991 he met Lisa Sheridan, an Irish athlete that was visiting Australia. Lisa and Luciano married in 1992. Lisa become an Australian citizen and represented Australia in World championships and Sydney 2000 Olympics. Luciano was her race walking coach since 1991. Events saw Luciano and Lisa move to Dublin in 1993 where they represented Ireland at the Stuttgart World Athletics Championships. His son Sidney Thomas was born in Sydney in 1997. After many years of sideline in the music industry Luciano recommenced his guitar works in 2013. His lacerated hand returned some feelings to his fingers after more than three decades during a house clean after a flood. "It felt like a miracle". In 2017 he started recording his compositions. Currently using music as a base for humanitarian help, his first song "Messages of Love" is testament of his talent. Luciano has collaboratd with Andrea Kirwin, Musical arranger Fiona Caldarevic and other very talented Australian musicians from Brisbane in the recording and launch of "Messages of Love" the album.
