Gýmeš Castle [1] (Slovak: Hrad Gýmeš, Hungarian: Gímesi vár, or rarely Slovak: Jelenecký hrad)) is a castle ruin in the Nitra district in south-western Slovakia, approximately 5 km north of the village of Jelenec (Hungarian: Gímes). It stands on the south slope of the Tribeč mountain range.

History[edit]

The castle was built in the 13th century[2]. WIP :-)
