From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tri-State Rail is a proposed regional transit system that would connect transit deserts in the New York metropolitan area. The name "Tri-State Rail" comes from the fact that the system serves three states, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. All lines use disused or underused rail lines for a vast majority of their lines
