The BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year is a competition sponsored by the BBC, that awards exceptional talent in young choristers. The awards ceremony usually take place at the end of October each year.

The winners, a boy and a girl, will receive a trophy and a cash prize for themselves and their choirs. There will also be opportunities for them to appear on national radio and television throughout the year.[1]

Similar competitions were previously sponsored by BET International, Rediffusion and the Royal School of Church Music.
