Article Evaluation

  • Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?
Everything in the article reviewing the minion civilization is relevant and there is nothing in the article that distracts the reader. 
  • Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? There are no claims that feel heavily biased. There is no position taken on the article.
  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? All view points are evenly presented through out the article except, I beleive the part reviewing government of Ancient Greece could be more elaborated.
  • Check a few citations. Do the links work? Does the source support the claims in the article? Many of the citations work and support the claim.
  • Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that bias noted? Many of the sources come from online text books and data bases. All sources are neutral.
  • Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? All information is up to date. More information could be added under the topic of government.
  • Check out the Talk page of the article. What kinds of conversations, if any, are going on behind the scenes about how to represent this topic? There are small corrections through out the article on the talk page.
  • How is the article rated? Is it a part of any WikiProjects? The article is rated c class. WikiProjects is also rated c class as well. The article is apart of four wiki projects.
  • How does the way Wikipedia discusses this topic differ from the way we've talked about it in class? The article is very relatable to what an article should look like based off our discussions in class.
