Synopsis

Two brothers, Zay and MK, play mortal kombat one night. Eventually, when they go to sleep, they are awoken by a strange noise they can't explain. They briefly search around and find a purple portal that sucks them in. They are taken to a strange place where they are met by a voice giving them a choice, "Welcome travelers, you have been selected to clear the dungeon. Now choose your class". The list of choices include Sword Class, Archer Class, and Magic Class. Zay chooses the Magic Class and MK chooses the Sword Class. Shortly after, the brothers are shown a door that opens revealing a long dark tunnel and they are instructed to enter. They journey into the darkness as the door closes behind them, it's hard to see, but eventually they realize the tunnel is filled with bodies, dead bodies, but with little to no wounds. They find a staircase leading down and they begin following it, wondering what they are doing here, what lies ahead of them, and more. Zay eventually finds a light spell in his magic book and lights their path. Before them lies a giant spider, a mother spider. MK chooses to observe and wait for the spider's first move while Zay looks in his book for spells, finding an ice spear attack, slicing through 3 of the spider's eyes. Before the spider can retaliate, MK leaps forward with an attack to kill it. Further down the staircase, the brothers find a cave with people cocooned, only one is moving though. Zay looks at MK to cut down the cocoons and they release a fellow traveler, who reveals herself to be an Archer, sent into the dungeon before them, she can't remember her name or her friends, but she does remember being sent here with others, ending up cocooned, and warns them of the last thing she remembers hearing. The three join forces and eventually continue through the caves, down more stairs hearing lizard noises. The further down they go, the more water they come across until they reach a waterfall--the only way down. They look down and try to judge the situation, but upon the obvious conclusion there's only one way down, Zay pushes MK down the waterfall and tells the Archer he will see her down there, leaping down. As MK falls, he tries to use his sword to stop the fall but it bounces off the rocks and he lands in the water below followed by Zay soon after. The two stand in the water as MK gives Zay a scolding look, returned by an oh well look from Zay. The Archer lands in the water after them, she screams out that there’s a way out, but is pulled down suddenly into the water. Zay and MK turn to look for her but all they see is blood in the water, shortly after she leaps out of the water yelling “Lizard men! Watch out they’re everywhere!”. Slowly the lizard men reveal themselves, peering at the three like prey. The three are alert and arm themselves, fighting back as they make their way to the doorway on the other side. Fending off the hoard, Zay reaches the doorway only to find out it’s filled with bricks, only letting bright light shine through. MK alerts the others and shouts out “We’re surrounded!”. the archer girl responds back this isn’t how I planned things before my wedding Zay turns back to the hoard and declares they fight with a smart remark “this is where the fun begins”. The archer replies this isn’t how she wants to die, suddenly a lizard leaps at the archer only to be beheaded by MK’s blade. Just as the group is about to be overcome they hear a voice yell out “Close your eyes!”, unyielding, Zay questions this direction, shortly after a light shines over them, blinding the lizards and Zay right along with them. “Now come on!” The voice shouts again. The archer and Mk grab Zay who’s been blinded by the bright light as the lizards are stunned and head the direction of the mysterious voice. They see a brutish dark figure ahead of them, “Hold your breath” he says before diving into the water. MK and the Archer girl look at each other confused as they each carry Zay on a shoulder. MK takes full hold of Zay and says “Well my friend, what goes around comes around” and throws Zay in the water behind the mysterious figure, following right behind. “Is it always like this with you two?” The archer girl exclaims, diving in after them. They follow the figure past a broken gate under the water and they get pulled down the flow of the water, landing on some rocks in a new cave system. The archer girl coughs out some water and tries to recover, looking up, she see’s the mysterious figure in full, a tall, buff creature with tusks and sharp ears, dressed in fur and armor. Her eyes wide, she turns to see where Zay and MK are. As they get up, Zay stares MK down, returned by a soft smirk. “Guys” the archer calls out to them, pointing their attention to the mysterious creature. Suddenly the cave begins to collapse, rocks falling from the sky, the walls cracking and shattering. “Time to move” MK and Zay exclaim, rushing away, pulling the archer with them as rocks fall where she stood before. The mysterious creature points out a staircase, “Over here!” He shouts, dashing down to the staircase. Zay and MK look at each other, hesitant but knowing it’s their best choice, they nod and charge after the creature with the archer behind them. They come upon an encasement with a group of survivors, just peering down the stairs in terror and confusion. Zay, MK, and the archer begin to ask everyone what’s going on, where did everyone come from and why is no one going down the stairs. The survivors explain they thought this was a way out but as more people went down further, the less people came back, the more screams they heard, there’s a killer below they explain to the archer. MK walks to the edge of the survivors as they explain, hearing a strange noise he thought may be crying, but as he got closer it began to sound like screaming; he listens closer and hears the darkest, most evil laughing, as if the other survivors aren’t just being killed, but tortured for amusement. MK’s eyes widen, Zay walks over asking what MK heard, after he explains, Zay searches in his magic book, eventually finding a vision spell which he casts to see further down the staircase. The foresightment goes down the stairs, with the screams and laughs only getting louder in Zay’s ears, the vision beginning to get shrouded in darkness and reversing back up the stairs. Zay feels a quick sting, taking a step back to regain balance after the impact. “What was that!?” MK asks. “There’s a killer down there, and he sent my magic away, he didn’t want me to see. All I saw was his smile of sharp teeth as he pushed me back.” Zay replies. The archer and mysterious creature walk up overhearing the conversation. “Well we can’t just stay here.” The archer insists. “As much as I’d like to take my chances with the rocks, it seems our way back is also blocked, the only way forward is down.” Says the mysterious creature. “Who even are you?”, “Funny that you led us down here.”, “How do we know you aren’t with the killer?” the Archer, MK, and Zay reply respectfully. The other survivors overhearing, all looking at the mysterious creature in wonder. “It was our only choice.” He responds. MK, Zay, and the Archer talk amongst each other, then turn to face the others, “We’re going to get a closer look.” The Archer tells everyone. “You might not return.” The mysterious creature replies. “Well if we die then you know there’s no way out.” Zay responds as they look down the staircase. “… and you’re going first.” MK adds. The mysterious creature rolls his eyes, knowing this is the only way he can be trusted. As they make their way down, they hear the sound of pebbles and more, dead bodies laying as if they were trying to get out, blood spattered everywhere, one body seemingly drug back down the stairs, some even recent, creeping eerily as they continue. The stairs only get darker and darker the only light is from a few old glow sticks on the ground next to bodies, Zay’s light spells only flickering. “I don’t like this” the archer whispers. “You? My protection isn’t working!” Zay gestures to his magic as he creates a light spell that almost instantly fizzles out. The Archer grabs one of the glow sticks from the ground to light the way. The mysterious creature halts the group, stopping in his tracks and peering beyond. He sniffs the air and shifts his feet, the sound of pebbles falling a long distance can be heard. “The stairs end here, it’s just a chasm.” The creature states. “Well we came this far” MK replies, the archer and Zay looking at him to shut up reluctant to continue. The four of them climb down the chasm wall, the archer’s arrows lodged into the ceiling with ropes to help them back up. As the reach the ground, a quick movement behind them sparks MK’s interest, he quickly draws his sword. The creature halts his quick action however. Zay grabs a rock and holds it ready to attack as the archer shines the glow stick around to see, but all they see is blood, bodies, and the smell of death. A quick shadow moving around them. “I think we should go back” the Archer says, looking back at the others. “In front of you!” MK points. The archer turns back only to see the killer, facing her with a grimacing smile, a monstrous body and rat-like face with the claws of a dragon and lion, no eyes, but sort of human shaped, it’s ears throbbing as it listens and nose flaring to smell. The archer screams, dropping the glow stick as she dashes back towards the ropes, the killer scratching into her leg as she runs, falling down. MK catches her, as he looks up his eyes widen and he throws her into Zay’s arms as the killer dashes at him, he readies his sword and launches a defensive attack only for the killer to dodge it and send scratches through MK’s back. The mysterious creature pulls MK back to the ropes with a hook from his pouch. Zay passes the archer to the creature and they all begin climbing back up, the killer plunging his claws into the wall to chase them, once they get high enough, the killer begins trying to cut the ropes. “Let go of the ropes!” Zay shouts. The ropes begin falling down as everyone grabs hold of the rocks, the killer leaps down at Zay, he tries to dodge but the killer manages to dig his claws into Zay’s arm as he falls down. As they reach the top, fighting off the pain, the four rush off back to the other survivors to warn them. When the group returns, the other survivors stand up, gleaming with hope. “You guys over here!” Zay and MK are waived over, they are assisted by a healer, who patches them up, asking questions about their encounter, meanwhile the archer is healed by another survivor, they remember her, they couldn’t see her very well when she first passed through but this time they were sure, it was a member of her old group she reminds her of her name, Ariel. Just as the bleeding is stopped, and the archer is reminded of her name, a roar is heard, and the sound of footsteps running, the sound of claws scratching against the rocks. Suddenly the killer leaps from the shadows, launching at Ariel and the other healer, but it’s knocked away by a rock to the face. Zay grunts as his arm is still sore, his stitches opening back up from the throw. “Everybody run!” The creature yells. The survivors all get up to run away, being attacked by the killer, slamming some into the walls crushing their bones, cutting some down to slices, pulling some as it scratches their skin away. MK snarls and reaches for his sword, charging at the killer, Ariel prepares her bow and launches an arrow from behind MK as he runs, he leaps into the air hitting the arrowhead perfectly setting up a combo with his sword aiming at the neck and the arrow for the heart, but the killer suddenly shifts, slapping the arrow away and grabbing MK’s ankle throwing him through the side of the wall. The impact mostly damaging his back but nearly making him unconscious. Zay grimaces, fighting the pain, grabbing the mysterious creatures axe, and setting the edges on fire, throwing it straight at the killer, but he grabs it flames and all, slamming it straight into one of the running survivors, they halt to a walk as it sits in their head, they slowly begin to stumble until they fall dead. Ariel stares, terrified, memories beginning to invade her mind. This was it, this is the monster that separated her group, took her memories, and left her stranded with the spiders. The mysterious creature grabs Ariel, the healer, Zay, and MK, attempting to grab survivors but the killer manages to get to them first, he runs off following the other few survivors down the staircase fast, knowing the killer will follow. The mysterious creature falls from trying to hold the group when he attempts climbing down the chasm and they land at the bottom. He lands on the healer who grunts in pain, “sorry”, he apologizes. Ariel tries to get up only to notice Zay has fallen face first into her breasts, as he wakes his eyes widen, then he looks at Ariel with a smirk. She looks back at him, her eye beginning to twitch. “Alright, getting up now.” as Zay tries to get up he uses her titties to push himself up. MK’s vision begins to unblur as he lay there staring up at the staircase, pebbles falling down, his consciousness coming back rapidly from the oncoming sense of danger, he realizes “It’s coming!” He shouts.
