'Kamorra' is a male first name of Hebrew origin (כמכה, transl.' 'Ka'morra', 'Kamocha', or 'Chamocha','as you', ' like you', 'you same').
'Kamorra' is originated from the Hebrew word, present in the Hebrew Bible in the following chapters:
Tehillim 86:8: "Ein Kamocha vaelohim (there is none like Thee among the gods), Adonai; nor are there any ma'asim like Thine.
(transl. in English: Psalm 86: 8: "There is no God like you, Lord, there is none who can do what you do.")
Markos 12:31: "And the shneyah is this, VAHAVTA LREACHA KAMOCHA [VAYIKRA 19:18]. There is not another mitzvah greater than these".
(transl. in English: Mark 12:31: "And the second most important is this:" Love others as you love yourself. "There is no other commandment more important than these two.")
Mattityahu 22:39: "And the second mitzvah is like it: VAHAVTAH LREIACHA KAMOCHA (And thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, [VAYIKRA 19:18]".
(transl. in English: Matthew 22:39: "And the second most important is like the first:" Love others as you love yourself "".)
Historic
[edit]It was used by Jews and Christians during the Middle Ages. Popularized with the famous representative of Militarism, the Corporal of the Brazilian Army Marcos Kamorra.
Pronúncia
[edit]It is important that you become aware of some basic rules, which will help you correctly pronounce the Hebrew names, especially those names or words that contain "H" and "CH".
The Chêt (ח) is transliterated by "CH", plus it has the "RR" sound. Therefore, when you are reading the book of Bereshit / Genesis and come across a Hebrew name beginning with "CH" you should pronounce that "CH" with "RR" sound. Example: Chavah is pronounced Raváh. And, if the "CH" is in the middle of the name, it should also be pronounced with the "RR" sound. Example: Lechem is pronounced Lerrem. When the "CH" is at the end of the name, it should be pronounced with the guttural "RR" sound. Examples: Rúach pronounces RúaRR (always pronouncing that final "RR" with guttural sound).
For example: Kamocha should be pronounced as Kamorra.
