Marcus Holliman[edit]
Marcus Holliman helps Small Businesses grow and create jobs; he has over 20 years of business development and management experience in a number of industry verticals ranging from commercial real estate, oil field services, gaming, recycling and professional sports.
As President of the Lemurs Baseball Organization Marcus is responsible for community quality of life initiatives, small business partnerships, public relations, league management, and City communications. Marcus Holliman also serves as Managing Partner of International Business Advisors a consulting firm specializing in foreign direct investment and is dedicated to helping small businesses for job sustainability.
In a community service capacity Marcus serves on the City of Laredo Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) with 8 other members appointed by the Mayor and Laredo City Council. The Committee is responsible for creating comprehensive incentive packages for prospective new businesses considering Laredo as a base of operation.
He also serves on the Webb County Appraisal Review Board, the (ABR) is the judicial part of the property tax system and is authorized to hear and resolve disputes over appraisal matters. In addition Marcus Holliman is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and has been featured or seen on the LMT Laredo Business Journal, Inc. Magazine, Amazon, Yahoo News, Fox News, Boston Globe, and About.com. Marcus is an alumni of the University of Southern Mississippi and currently resides in the Laredo area.
