I am Mark Chockalingam. I lead a boutique consulting practice based in Boston Demand Planning LLC with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Pune and Shangai. I have been working in the Supply Chain area for the last twenty+ years. I have been specializing in Business Process and Strategy Consultancy having worked with clients in many industries including Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, Industrials, Chemicals and Fashion Apparel. His specialty consulting areas include Sales forecasting, Supply Chain Analytics, and Sales and Operations Planning.

Prior to starting Demand Planning LLC, I worked with manufacturing companies in supply chain and marketing analysis positions with companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Schering-Plough, FedEx and TVS group.

I have a Ph. D. in Financial Economics from Arizona State University and am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and the APICS.

I hail from a community of traders based in South India, called Nagarathars. Nagarathars predominantly originated in the Southern tip of India in an area called Chettinad, though they are known to have traveled all over the world and had trading relations with different countries.
