I hold degrees and certification in oratorio and solo voice performance, with a special emphasis on Early and New Music. For various lengths of time I was taught how to play the violin, piano, electric bass (also jazz), viola, organ and, mostly, sing! I attended advanced workshops in operatic performance, am very much at home in topics centering on the humanities and music.

In my avocation and job as a freelance translator and editor, I also focus on peace and conflict mediation research, related sociology research, urban and land-use planning, and environmental protection. See, for example:

--> I co-translated and helped proof the galley for Architecture on Common Ground: Positions and Models on the Land Property Issue (2 July 2020) by Florian Hertwek and many other experts https://www.amazon.co.uk/Architecture-Common-Ground-Positions-Property/dp/3037786035/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&qid=1592568136&refinements=p_27%3AFlorian+Hertweck&s=books&sr=1-2&text=Florian+Hertweck)

--> I was the translator of this 2019 publication (even if they overlooked giving me credit): Challenges for a Sustainable Chemicals Policy: The Need for Transformation in the Global Context https://www.bund.net/fileadmin/user_upload_bund/publikationen/chemie/chemie_stoffpolitik-position_engl.pdf)

I try to live by this idea: Pursuing aspirations which do not come at the gross expense of others. It all starts with one or two people because it takes a village or neighborhood. I look forward to constructive dialogue with you.

Expression is the dynamic force which kindles our human spirit.
