IG-72 was hte IG-88 series assassin droid prototype.

Life

IG-72 when the IG-88's escaped from Holowan Labratories they freed IG-72 and when they got to the spaceport after killing most of the staff IG-88A offered IG-72 an upgrade but IG-72 declined and they whent their sperate ways. IG-72's then started bounty hunting he did this because he had no where to go and nothing eles to do. Plus most of the IG series assassin droid whent into bounty hunting. IG-72's first big bounty was set by two scientists and it was to capture two IG-100 magna guards to help with the remaines of General Greveous IG-72 accepted the job and caught the droids with ease the two IG-100's were renamed NK1 and NK2. After this bounty the Empire put a bounty on his head. He also took on many smaller bounty's in the time between the IG-100 bounty and the Hunt for adar Tallon IG-72 also partisipated in the Tatooine Manhunt along with Dengar Boba Fett Zuckuss and 4-LOM.

Adar Tallon

Kill kill kill! By IG-72

IG-72 was called upon by Darth Vader even thought the Empire had put a bounty on his head. He was called to capture Rebel hero Adar Tallon who was on Tatooine. IG-72 whent to Tatooine and located Adar Tallon he then engaged him he fired a grenede at him but Adar Tallon jumped out of the way so IG-72 then dived behind some rocks then detonated a bomb and left droid parts around IG-72 made it look like he had self destructed but acctually he faked his death and then whent into hiding he remerged years later and continued bounty hunting.
