Navigenics is a biotechnology company offering direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetics services. The company was founded in 2006 by David Agus, M.D. and Dietrich Stephan, Ph.D.
As part of its ‘Navigenics Health Compass’ service offering, Navigenics will provide subscribers with their own online personal genome scan results indicating their predisposition to a number of health conditions as well as a health and wellness action plan. Genetic counseling services are available by phone to help consumers review their results. The cost is $2500 for the first year and $250 for each year thereafter.
