Matt Burdett - Digital Marketing Strategist

Having used Wikipedia for many decades, both as a consumer and contributor, I am eager to share my knowledge with others.

Whether contributing to development of Wikipedia pages or amending and adjusting minor details, my field of knowledge extends ranging from franchising to rail transport.

It can be easy to overlook just how important Wikipedia is, its prominence on the web makes it almost second nature for research and quick fact finding. Personally, I can't stand AI. I'd rather use Wikipedia to answer my questions than a chat AI bot on search engines. The inhuman responses and the annoying "Certainly!" that starts with every question's answer on Bing. Seeing a link to Wikipedia provides light in an otherwise misguided search experience that today's search engines are facing in my opinion. When I see something that is powered or offers AI, I turn away.

My favourite Wikipedia articles are those about food. I like to research different foods. I spend some time reading Wikipedia about foods I am eating at the time. I also tend to enjoy contributing to TV Wikipedia entries, adding facts that might otherwise be missing.
