About Me[edit]

I'm an archival cataloguer at the Archives of American Art, with 21 years of experience in libraries and archives. I've a bachelors degree in English and Theatre from James Madison University with concentrations in pre-20th century poetry, dramatic literature, and historical costuming. I also have a Masters of Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. I'm an avid fiber artist, with current projects involving bead work, jewelry making, sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, spinning (with both drop spindles and wheels), quilting, and tablet weaving. I'll be fixing spelling and grammatical errors, adding links to finding aids (detailed archival descriptions of the resources within a collection) to entries, and updating biographical data in entries with information from finding aids.
