Digital Plant design, automation and control is the current knowledge every plant technocrat should be giving a sensitive eye to. It calls for a combination of both Chemical, Bio-process technology and Electrical & Electronic engineering concepts of control systems. With a better understanding of process and equipment design, process economics, unit operations and other key design areas of parameter factoring like heat transfer, fluid mechanics, Chemical engineering thermodynamics, Mass transfer and Reaction Engineering. Ultra sound knowledge in control systems will act as a good bridge to a realization of a realistic functional digital plant. Benson Mule Kyule, A researcher and Digital plant expert, with a Chemical and Process Engineering Knowledge from Moi University and on going Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from University of Nairobi, out stands as an competent personnel and a consultant in plant automation's and process control. new article content ...
