Site was created in 2012 for information relating to Heavy Metal music and the release dates of albums.

Also for celebrating musicians birthdays and mentioning deaths and trivia.

VIDEO SEGMENT AND GUESTS

The popularity of “This Day in Metal”  is mainly based on celebrity guests doing short videos mentioning what happened on a particular day in “Heavy Metal”  history.

Guests have included Chris Jericho, Eddie Trunk, Dee Snider, Brian Slagel and many others.
