User:Meters/Applied Food Biotechnology spammer

notes for future SPI or LTA report

Widesperead spamming of links to articles in the journal Applied Food Biotechnology. These are often inserted into articles as bare doi.org links without any attempt to use them constructively (eg [1]).

Such additions can be in article text, in short descriptions, in external links, in references, or on talk pages. Similar actions suggest that these are being done by one editor using serial throw away accounts. Also active on fa.Wikipedia.

Short-term block July 8 on English Wikipedia has expired. Similarly named user:Reza eskandari004 and user:Reza eskandary04 were created within days of Reza eskandari04. They have made no edits as yet but are likely sleeper accounts.
