Who I Am[edit]

I am currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University. I was able to get HOPE at the end of my High school career and I am also using financial aid to help pay my college fees. In order to get hope you need a 3.0 GPA throughout high school which I was able to obtain. In hhigh school I played soccer for the school's varsity team and in my senior year we were able to make it to the semi finals of the state play ooffs, but we lost to the team that went on to win the tournamnet. I am currently majoring in computer science and I have not selected a minor. I am hoping that a degree in computer science will pay off with a nice job when I am able to finish up school. I have had a few jobs over the years: I worked at a soccer shop selling shoes and balls, I also worked for the ice cream store Cold Stone. In college I am not working for now but as I get more settled I do plan on looking for a job. I love to play xbox360, Call of Duty MW2 is my favorite game out there and I might spend a little too much time on it, but it is still my favorite game out there.

My Wikipedia Posts[edit]

As I am currently a new user to Wikipedia, I have only written one article so far. My article is Task Force Black and I am still working on improving the content and look of the article.

Sadly for me it seemed a better choice for my article to be merged into a larger page and it wasnt worthy of its own page. I was able to edit and revise my test page which contained my article.

How I See Technology[edit]

To me, technology comes easy to me. I am not the greatest at working with complex things but I am getting better at working with computers and learning to code. While in high school I took two computer science classes and started to really enjoy them, so for now my major will be computer science and I hope learning the rest will come easy to me. I am skilled with all of the Microsoft Office programs and I enjoy using them all. MY favorite ones to use are publisher and power point becuase each one gives me the options to do my thing and express it in my own way.

Wikipedia For Me[edit]

Wikipedia for me is a very good resource for getting background and basic information about a topic. Wikipedia normally gives me a good solid base to start my information gathering. I am able to find facts about what ever topic I am trying to gather information about. Teachers would always tell us that Wikipedia was a horrible resource to use and if we do use it as a reference then our paper would be given a 0. As the over achieving, rule following and non lazy student that I am, I would always go to Wikipedia first to make sure that any information that was on different sites or books that I did use in my research, all had the same information as Wikipedia did.

To me Wikipedia is a very helpful and useful site. I feel that the people who watch over and edit the pages on the site. I feel that most of the people who do watch over and edit the pages on this site are educated and know more about the field that choose to edit then just a normal person getting on to do the same job. I do enjoy the fact that Wikipedia is open to everyone and everyone has a fair shot of getting articles posted. To me Wikipedia is a very helpful and useful resource.

Languages[edit]

In Middle School and High School I took French for 4 years. I plan to start to study French again sometime in the future in order to be able to take a trip to France when I get out of college

My Random Facts[edit]

I love fast food but still will always enjoy a sit down meal. Taco Mac's extra crispy wings are one of my favorite foods. I am not a big sweats fan i dont eat alot of chocolate or other candies. I love to go out and I love to party, but I will always get my all school work before I go out.
