Murat Kazgan was born in Istanbul on 3 January 1986, he is the First Turkish MMA and Bare Knuckle Fighter.

  • Murat Kazgan was born in 1986 in Istanbul.
  • He started his sports life with KickBoxing in 1996.
  • Until 2003, he participated in many amateur competitions in the branches of Boxing, Wrestling, Taekwondo and Kickboxing.
  • In 2004, he received a black belt in Kickboxing and Taekwondo.
  • In 2005, he decided to become a fighter in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), a sport that is not available in Turkey, as he is an expert in many martial branches.
  • In 2007, he went to Thailand Tiger Muay Thai & MMA camp, his first international training camp.
  • He continued his training with Swedish GBG MMA before his first professional MMA match in London in 2009.
  • In 2009, he received the title of the first and only A class professional cage fighter summoned from Turkey with the fight he played in London, and after returning to his country Turkey, he established Kazgan CrossFight Academy to promote and develop the sport of MMA.
  • He fought in the first professional MMA fight in Turkey in 2011 and made his Kazakh opponent give up in 55 seconds with the arm triangle technique. Won with Submission.
  • He was the guest of many television programs in Turkey. Some of them are: Beyaz Show, Hülya Avşar Show, Billur Kalkavan, Seray Sever, Saba Tümer, Defne Samyeli.
  • It was widely covered in all the written media in Turkey. It introduced the sport of MMA to the Turkish people in the written and visual media.
  • The semi-finalist of 2012 won by submission, defeating Lee Hyung Sung, who had 9 wins in 11 games, with the Guillotine Choke technique in 55 seconds.
  • In the same year, he became the 100th anniversary model of Adidas and took place as the brand face in many channels at Turkey.
  • In 2013, he was called to Road FC, one of Asia's largest and one of the world's top 5 organizations.
  • In 2014, he became the first and only Turkish BJJ black belt MMA athlete in the world.
  • In 2014, he signed a sponsorship agreement with Booster Fight Gear, one of the world's largest martial arts brand. This sponsorship has been continuing for 9 years.
  • Murat Kazgan faced his opponent Anatoly Pokrovsky at one of the biggest MMA organization at Europe, Fight Night Russia.
  • He received the best submission award of the year at ROAD FC, one of the largest organizations in Asia and one of the top five organizations in the world.
  • In 2015, he became the fighter of Blackhouse MMA, one of the top three professional MMA teams in the world.
  • In 2015, he became the head coach of the Turkish MMA federation.
  • Since 2015, he has been giving training seminars in many cities of Turkey in order to popularize and develop MMA sports.

  • In 2022, he signed with BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship), the world's largest bare hand boxing organization.
  • In 2023, , he won his first Bare Knuckle fight at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, by TKO in 1 minute 47 seconds, over his American opponent Jordan Weeks.
