His original screenplay, You Lucky Dog, was a successful comedy for The Disney Channel and h screenplay, The Legend of Gator Face, was a comedy hit for Showtime.
Covell has also written and directed several short films. His parody of The Sixth Sense won praise from film critics such as ABC’s George Pennacchio.
