Hello! My name is Mike Turken. I am a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to improving systems of health care. I obtained my MD from UCSF School of Medicine and studied public health at UC Berkeley, where I received my MPH in 2012. I then went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford. I became involved with WikiProject Medicine with the chief goal of building relationships between Wikipedia and academic medical centers like www.ucsf.eduUCSF and Stanford health Care.
My next goal is to build relationships between WikiProject Medicine and retired physicians and health care professionals.
