I am a professor and a Wikipedia veteran who has simply never gotten around to creating a distinctive user page. By day and for pay, I am a social work professor. My specific Wikipedia interests tend to be in the following areas:

  • Sports, especially baseball. I was once engaged in a ridiculous project to write entries for all former Chicago Cubs who didn't have any. I went through the C's before someone else stepped in and did most of the rest. Thanks, stranger!
  • Psychology (particularly behaviorism and cognitive-behavioral treatment)
  • Drugs and drug abuse (I teach Intro to Substance Abuse, Advanced Addictions Counseling Skills, and other related classes)
  • Rock music

I am a stickler for grammar and spelling and can occasionally be found making minor edits in areas outside my main interests.
