• Established on-Wiki Strategic Planning pages for Future Picture, Objectives and Task Forces
• Discussion re two issues on the Future Picture
  • Scope of enterprise: Wikipedia versus Wikimedia Projects and English only versus English and other language projects (Not yet resolved, pending scope task force recommendation)
  • Support for Information Literacy: Based on discussion, changed to Information Fluency to address both Librarian and Academic use.
  • Specific Financial position budget $ pending completion of Financial Task Force work.
• Established Agenda for 2nd in-person meeting to ensure alignment against Future Picture, Phase One Objectives, Task Force Desired Effects and the establishment of Phase II Objectives and Task Forces.

Recommendations

1. The working group adopt the USCAN Education Program Future Picture as written pending decision on scope—Language and Project—and ultimate inclusion of Financial goal.
2. The working group establishes a milestone for the movement of this working group Wiki into the Wikipedia mainspace.
