From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Koji Kamibayashi (born October 10, 1960 in Sapporo, Japan), was the founder and CEO of TV Tokyo Broadband. [1] TV Tokyo Broadband is also know as TXBB, [2] which went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2005 (3786:Tokyo).[3] He also was the largest shareholder of InterFM (officially: FM Inter-Wave) in Tokyo, Japan.

As CEO of TXBB, he was responsible for bringing many famous animations such as Peanuts, Snoopy and Woodstock, France's Miffy, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Russia's Cheburashka, among others, to Japan. [4] He also revived the fortunes of the children's program Sesame Street[5] when he created a consortium to control the shows fortunes in Japan after NHK dropped it; the consortium soon turned it around and made Sesame Street into a successful program in Japan.
