Bip Pares

Bip Pares was an illustrator in multiple crime and fiction novels in the 20th century. Born 27th February 1904, the eldest girl in a family of six to Basil Pares Snr. and Evelyn Whistler, she is known to have created over 600 jackets for books by the likes of E Phillips Oppenheim and Seldon Truss. During the Second World War, Pares drew maps for the Daily Express.
