Fazal Ahmad Arif, famous with the name Allama Fazal Ahmad Arif was a teacher and author of many books on the Islamic History.

Personal Life:

He was born in Kabirwala (District Khanewal) in 1931. He completed his matriculation from Kabirwala in 1951. He was then admitted to Emerson College Multan and completed his FA in 1953. He done his masters in Islamiat from Punjab University in 1960 and MA Arabic in 1961.

Job:

He started his employment as lecturer Government Municipal College Okara in 1964. He spent his most productive years in Okara. He was a lovable figure amongst the student and his collogues. In 1981, he was transferred to Khanewal as Lecturer Government Islamia College Khanewal. He served here for 2 years and was transferred to Emerson College Multan in 1983. He served this college until his retirement in 1992.

Death:

He died on Saturday June 10, 2006 after a brief illness and was laid to rest at graveyard in Gulgasht Colony Multan. He left behind 3 sons and a widow. May Allah rest his soul in peace. Aameen.
