Garrett Morgan" was an American inventor of African American decent. Born on March 4, 1877 was also born into slavery sadly but is also important to this society because he was known for inventing items such as a "hair straighter, gas mask, sewing machine, automated traffic lights" that had an impact on several different cultures of many generations.This is because he has created incredible inventions that really help benefit America as well as many other cultures around the world. We use all of these objects in our daily lives and it is much easier and influences different people because they use them too in their countries. The things we use to take better care of our clothing, using traffic lights in order to be safe in our world as well as for people in our country to adapt in order to be used to the changes that have been made in this United States.

"Garrett Morgan" has greatly influenced Americans and people of many different cultures especially knowing that he did something good for the United States as well as for countries all around the world. He has also helped to improve the diversity in the world and for the people who enjoy being a citizen of this country and for our country as a whole. I believe that Garrett has been appreciated by many people and is a very smart man to look up to and has had lots of education regarding the creation of these inventions and most of these inventors has been able to invent important objects without any type of college degree.

"Garrett Morgan" has had no college experience at all but still was able to think of important ideas that can definitely be appreciated by millions of Americans as well as for people who are not citizens of the United States. He has also done works of bravery in his time when he was alive such as "saving a group of trapped workers from nearly 50 feet underneath lake Erie inside of a tunnel in the year of 1916 in the city of Cleveland Ohio." Has been known for not only as a great inventor but as a hero in his lifetime and should also be remembered by his good deeds.

One thing I had really admired Garrett Morgan is that he has done many things to help this country and he also could not stand to see anyone suffer or get hurt so he has completed an unbelievable rescue that not many people would have the bravery to even attempt to do what he has done, to prove that he is a caring person that doe not want to see anybody get hurt or become in danger and that is what I learned about from researching Garrett Morgan. This project is more about my opinion toward Garrett Morgan and why he is an important part of the world's history and people should learn more about him in their history classes in the years to come. I believe that Garrett Morgan should a more influential person that people like tho learn about on Wikipedia because he is not a very famous person and Morgan should deserve more credit for effort on building the country and his help to improve it from the ground up.
