Md Hasan Morshed, commonly known as Hasan Morshed[1] is a well-known Bangladeshi filmmaker and television commercial director.[2] He started his career in 2012 with a single episode fiction drama ‘Jorda Jamal’,[3] which was aired in Bangladeshi TV station Maasranga Television.[3] He was nominated for the “Best Director” award in the 15th Meril-Prothom Alo Awards for Jorda Jamal.[4] Hasan Morshed has directed approximately 25 single episode television dramas[2] and three drama serials with a total of 170 episodes.[2]

In 2014, Hasan Morshed started making television commercials for both Bangladeshi and International brands, like USAID, ICC (International Cricket Council), LG, and Johns Hopkins University.[2] He has created around 300 TV Commercials so far.[2] In 2015, Hasan Morshed directed a health awareness commercial titled “Language Matters” for the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.[5] The production was screened at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in 2015.[5]

Hasan Morshed is married to Nadia Farhad Sheefa.[2] They have a 3-year-old son, named Shehran Hasan Mansur.[2]
