Kodithodi Ahamed alias Bapu (May 1, 1936 – July 4, 2014) popularly known as Arimbra Babpu (Malayalam: അരിമ്പ്ര ബാപ്പു) or Bapu (Malayalam: ബാപ്പു) was a politician from Kerala, India belonging to the Indian Union Muslim League party. He served as the first President of MorayurGram panchayat from year 1969 to 1995, as he was elected continuously, sometimes without opposition. He avoided sound politics after he had a brain stroke, up to the second incident of stroke, which caused his death in July 4, 2014. He were given many chances of becoming State Minister and MLA by the party, but he always rejected the choice and was preferred of being Compassionate. He worked among the famous politicians of IUML C. H. Mohammed Koya , Chakeri Ahammed Kutty and with the Panakkad Thangal who was in charge of the party. And he helped in uplifting the party in Eranad. He served many titles in Party as well Government bodies at the times.[1][2]
