Happy New Year!

Hey there! I hope you enjoyed ringing in the New Year with those who are special to you! ;) Hubby and I spent it here watching movies and doing the same ole same ole. We stay off the streets during this day and leave it to the partiers to play on. Thanks for your input at Ted Bundy. It's been hell to get anything done there. Be careful there, there's been a lot of bad blood going on and reports being made to boards that I don't consider to be correct choices but hey who am I these days! :) I think just leaving the judge's words out right now will at least hopefully calm the waters. I just got a new computer and it's wonderful, got speed, got lots of memory, lots of other things I'm not aware of too now that I have Vista. I am still playing with things and still afraid I'm going to hit something wrong. What I don't have is my speakers hooked up properly. I have two tiny speakers next to my monitor which doesn't have speakers so I need the little ones. Hubby forgot to hook them up so as soon as I can feel for the end of the wires I need to have him come and hook it to whatever so I have sound when I need it. I usually keep the sound off on my computer, too noisy with others AOL sounds and the lots. But I would like to take a peek at the movie you mention but I can't until I have sound. I may go to Blockbusters or the like and see if I can rent the damn movies everyone is suggesting so I can see for myself what, if anything the movies say the judge says. I think all of the bad blood over a few words difference for the Rule book and movies is over top but hey that's me, I hate fighting. It seems fighting on this site comes looking for me no matter how hard I try. It's amazing. Well happy holidays my dear, Talk again soon, --CrohnieGalTalk 11:09, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Hello - some editors fight off the vandal hordes, as I do repairing pages with citation errors. If I didn't - there would be a large backlog in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting and in Category:Pages with missing references list as in Category:Pages with broken reference names (more than 1500 yesterday). But it is impossible to work it alone. Do you know how to do a "Blitz" (excuse the comparision) to find willing editors to work on it. It is much more easier to repair references if you do it one hour, one day or one week ago after the errors were made instead of months and years after the error was done. Very, very difficult to find these errors.

Only with WikiBlame Search it is possible to find and repair such errors.

Best wishes & thanks --Frze > talk 09:00, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Talk:Marion Institute/Comments requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G8 in spirit: archive of a deleted talk page whose corresponding article was deleted after a PROD expired. Sole comment is not likely to be useful even if page is de-prodded.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 00:30, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fluke Corporation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bloomberg (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
