"La Guardia and Wagner Archives Koch Scholars"
A project to identify content gaps and work with Wikipedia editors to add reliable local archival resources and digital content to close the identified gaps in Wikipedia articles. To that end, we will get familiar with Wikipedia editing culture and carry on this program to make our unique contributions to Wikipedia articles. |
For selected topics, students will work with faculty advisors and other Wikipedia editors to:
- Perform archival research under the guidance of college archivists with the objective of aligning the content and references on related Wikipedia entries with the unique holdings in our special collections. This work will bring needed online visibility and public accessibility to an important set of local history resources.
