Michael L. Revels was born at Fort Sill, OK to Chris Marshall and Ruth Revels. Michael grew up in Alvin, TX where he Graduated from Alvin High School in 2001. He went to Alvin Community College and then He got his Certificate in Genealogy at a Career College.

Michael's Child life growing up was always battle with Asthma. Doctor's told him he couldn't play sports. Michael played Little League Baseball, Football, and Basketball.

In School. Michael had it pretty rough with learning to Read and Write. That didn't stop him from not trying, he was determined to keep going and not let it get him down.

In the Summer of 2010, his grandfather Walter Revels wanted to know more about his father and mother side. Michael's Grandmother already had a bunch of work done on her mother and father. Michael told his grandfather I will look into it. Michael then found his Genealogy Life. He started tracing the Revels and Shearer family and showing his grandfather. He drove his grandfather from Houston, Texas to Cedar Key, FL to a Revels Reunion where they met cousins that they never met before.

Michael has put together Genealogy Books, he also studies DNA Results where he is a Group Admin for the Revels DNA Project at familytreedna.com

Michael Currently resides in Alvin, TX along with his mother, Two Brother's, Sister In-Laws, Nephew's and One Niece.
