This article could've have been significantly improved by using one of Wikipedia's pre-made templates. This article could've also been improved by making it substantially longer, this could've been done by expanding on the culture around the sneaker not just one link to a lyric in a rap song. This article could've also mentioned the sneakers popularity in certain cultural groups. Also this article makes reference to the fact that they are called "air force 1" because of the air technology. While this is partially true the sneaker was also name after "air force 1" the US presidents personal plane for international and domestic travel.

This article is listed as a stub article. For it to move up to an A class article it would have to improve in a number of ways. First and foremost this article is only one sentence long so it would need to be lengthened considerably. moreover the article would need to be structured well by using a template with multiple headings. This also means that the article should flow and isn't in a seemingly random order. Additionally if this article were to be lengthened it would need many more references from reliable sources and should have no copyright problems.

Christiaan Hendrik Persoon was born on the 1st of February 1761 in cape town in South Africa

He did seminal research in mycology, formed the basis for modern mycology

Article published in 1796 in Gottingen Germany

The information in the source is hard to verify since as it is in Latin

Persoon discovered this type of mushroom so this source was written at a very relevant time

This source is directed towards other botanists and scientist at the time

This source is very short and also is the discovery of this type of mushroom so it does not have much information of the topic itself as it hadn't been thoroughly researched yet

The information in the source is likely to be opinion as Persoon had only just discovered this mushroom so there was no solid information on this mushroom yet

Hugh Baird

(bad article)

This article does not meet most of the criteria for a perfect article. The article itself is very short which is its first shortcoming. It has a title but no further subheadings which would make the article hard to navigate if it was longer. The article is however written to a relatively high standard. there is also no bias in this article, a selling point of the article. The articles lacks in the reference department with only one reference. This article is ranked as a stub class article probably because of its short length. This article could be improved greatly by lengthening it and giving it a better structure with sub headings for each topic. finally the article must also have a longer reference list.
