Alexandra Elle is an author, blogger, and entrepreneur.[1] She is the founder of a skin care company called Balm & Co. Elle also has a blog called "another sunday." where she writes about her personal life and self-care, and runs a Podcast called "hey, girl".

Elle continuously hosts several events, including a series of self-care sessions, journalling workshops and book readings and signings at various locations.[2]

Elle founded Balm & Co. in 2014. Elle's idea to start a natural beauty line developed from her daughter's love of creating lip balms and her own preference for all-natural products.[3]

Elle founded "another sunday."[4] in 2015 to document her journey, specifically focusing on motherhood, entrepreneurship, minimalism and self-care.

The "Love Your Lines" Campaign[edit]

"Love Your Lines" began as an Instagram campaign in 2015. It was created by Alex Elle and photographer Erika Layne Salazar to "make women feel safe about their bodies" and share photos of their stretch marks.[5] They posted their email and asked for women to email them photos of their stretch marks and how they feel about them. Photos and captions from women of all ages, shapes and sizes were posted on the account. It accumulated 134,000 followers and 430 submissions.

On March 8, 2017 Elle released the first episode of her podcast hey, girl., which features Elle interviewing guests of various types.

Books[edit]

Elle's writing falls in the genres of poetry, prose and self-help. She has self-published three of her four books, #ANoteToSelf, Love in My Language, and Words from a Wanderer, using the self-publishing platform Createspace. Neon Soul was published by Andrews McMeel Publishing.[6]
