Currently Taipei 101 is the tallest building in the world, however Burj Dubai will surpress Taipei 101, later this year when it will be completed. The CTBUH (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat), suggest that Burj Dubai will remain the tallest building in the world for atleast a decade, due to the affect of the economy on all Skyscraper projects, its mean that Burj Dubai will remain the tallest building until 2020[1].Upon the completion of Burj Dubai, it will be over 60 % taller than Taipei 101[2] Due to the current supertall skyscraper ambition it is likely that a 1000 meter tower will be achieved in the 2020's[3]
