Nancy Sutton Smith has 3 decades of television news editing and producing experience. She has earned 6 regional Emmy Awards for editing and producing and worked on the very first gang documentary produced in Los Angeles, "Our Children: The Next Generation" which won a Robert F. Kennedy Award for Journalism. She always felt news coverage lacked "good news" so she created Sutton Bay Media Company and produces nonprofit videos for nonprofit and small business organizations. She was recently a board member of the Southeast Pennsylvania Red Cross Blood Services and was a member of the marketing committee for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. She currently teaches Media Production to high school, college and adult learners. She has spent the last 8 years researching Cyber High School education and has also home schooled her own children for a portion of their K-12 educational life.
