Anti- Lynching Movement Wikipedia Page
A way in which many black women contributed to the anti-lynching movement was through the Dyer Bill. The bill was a foundation that exposed both lynching, and the affects it had on the people. The poet Angelina Grimke was one of the many women that wrote about the effects, of lynching. Rachel is one of Grimke's most famous plays in which she addresses both the lynching problem and the psychological affects it had on innocence Negro people.[1] This anti-lying play was first performed in NAACP anti lynching Drama Committee.[2]
