From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
3D printing has a crucial part in computational fabrication

Computational Fabrication or Computational manufacturing refers to the process of designing the physical property of an item (appearance, texture, elasticity,... etc) and manufacturing it in such a way that the final product is as close to the design as possible. The final product could be a building with a spectacular architecture that plays with light to catch your attention or a security patch that designed to be unforgeable.

History

[edit]
primitive tools used by early humans

Manufacturing has existed ever since the human started to build items for improving his performance in the tasks like hunting, farming, defense... etc. as the time goes by our ancestors learned to improve the quality of the products by using better materials. the might have started building object with wood or bone but they learned that tin and still are better and stronger. this trend continued we discovered new materials new methods for mixing them to make them even better .
