From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wautersia eutropha is a gram negative bacteria of the group cupriavidus since it was moved to the new group from the hydrogenomas (alcaligenes eutrophus) group.

Wautersia eutropha is a candidate nutrition source that requires only heat to proliferate. Subsequently, it's use with fission reactors is suggested[1]. Metabolic energy is released by oxidation of hydrogen in nutrition (Schlegel, 1971). Soup is heated at 65°C activating enzymatic action on nucleic acid that are separated leaving proteins.
