I'm a professional practicing, publishing, neuroscientist and I also teach graduate and undergraduate courses at a major (Times top 100) university. I have very diverse interests: ion channels, synaptic transmission, spikes, neural circuits (especially thalamus and neocortex), neural networks (especially learning theory), some aspects of origin and evolution of life. I think Wikipedia is a very valuable resource, and I would like to help further improve and extend its content.
