Jasian Nguyễn (or Night-Jasian) claims to be an amateur historian. He is interested in politics, military songs/national anthems, and especially has a strange interest in flags and often searches for material on Wikipedia.

He started joining Wikipedia officially in December 2022 with adding more information in articles, in English and Vietnamese Wikipedia. Quite fluent in English and is currently learning Japanese. He is also a freelance translator and writer.

Political opinions[edit]

Vietnamese Trotskyists in Saigon on August 21, 1945. Later suppressed by the Communist Party of Vietnam

He partly believes in Three Principles of the People (Tridemism), with left-leaning political bias, including 21st century Socialism and Trotskyism. Believe in the development and benefits of socialism but believe that the direction taken in the past and present is wrong as proven by history.

Especially like the Soviet Union, he believes that this state from the time later of Stalin and Khrushchev had been against Marxism, going down a bureaucratic and authoritarian path.

Regarding current Vietnam, he believes that the current state is nationalist-capitalist, no longer true to the nature of the proletarian state and has anti-progressive elements. This is also the mistake that many Vietnamese leftists are making.

He rejects Vietnamese Nationalism but also opposes cultural colonization and modern imperialism. He believes that Vietnamese people need to limit divisive thinking and leaning towards major superpowers when formulating their views on the world situation. Support social democratic movements developing in the world today.
