Madhya pradesh ,India. is an emerging and promising young painter contributing a high degree of art. His interest in art began early.

He started his early education at kendriya vidyalaya/Dewas.His interest in painting led him to indore, /indira performing art and music university/khairagarh where he earned his bachelor of fine arts degree.

He went on showing and improving his precious talent and was awarded degree master of fine arts in painting up then from the same University.On arriving in Bombay, nitish spent few years where he ended setting up his own painting studio.being a highly complex and a talented artist he experimented initially, with realistic imagery.

Over the time, however he felt the need of negotiating with excessive decoration and ornamentation that seems to have pushed him to switch to abstracts, his early body of work is predominantly objective using patches of bright orchestrated colors in acrylic on large expanses of paper and canvases. He always have received admiration for his bold, natural and unconstrained brush strokes as they are highly and uniquely suggestive of a burgeoning energy that seems to stem from the cathartic process of creation.

sometimes this very unique and own pictorial plane is often organized by striking, flat, color panels that frame patches of exhilarating brush work rendered with abandon.

And miraculously you find that somewhere amidst all the chaos, definite geometrical forms appear afloat the planes of color. Sharing his viewpoint, sensitiveness and skill..

his recent works are witness of he being successful in his endeavor, of courses that is in his own terms, to convert form into the formless. It feels that as long as he is successfully putting his point across, the language he uses to do so is irrelevant.

Nitish has had several exhibitions in the various parts of india . During these exhibitions he earned himself a recognition. With his every exhibition he is being appreciated by parallel experts . Creating itself a space for his extra ordinary work now, is getting attention from places all . His solo exhibitions are establishing him as a modern age Indian painter with a vision and skill. He started exhibit his work in 1990. He already has had his first exhibition during his MFA . Nitish became a name in the field with his solo exhibitions. His first major solo was at ’Tao Art Gallery’ Worli, Mumbai in 2002 at jehangir art gallery.kala ghoda' Mumbai was the place where he exhibited his second solo. This was offered by art magnet and industrialist Mr.harsh goenka chairman of RPG Enterprises in 2003. Subsequently two more solos followed, with

Mr.Vickram Sethi at Studio 51J, Mumbai in 2003 and at then at arts trust-institute of contemporary indian art /kala ghodain 2008. Nitish celebrated his recent solo exhibition ‘Back-Channel’ 2011 was with Gallery Indigo Blue, Singapore.In 2011 he has been awarded prestigious kala-kaustubh samman by kalavart nyas ujjain nitish is married to fellow painter and ceramist shakti rane an national institute of design (NID), Ahmedabad ,graduate has a son prannoy lives and works in navi Mumbai.
