From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My name is Gloria De Danieli, student number 1020411. In my first experience regarding the implementation of pre-existing articles in wikipedia, I contributed to the modification of the page in Italian of the municipality of Scanzorosciate, where I live, and in the one relating to the symbol / heritage of the country: Moscato di Scanzo.

Below is the link to the two pages:

https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scanzorosciate

https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscato_di_Scanzo

Other contributions were also made in the English-language articles regarding the territories of Pedrengo and Torre Boldone, whose reference pages are the same: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pedrengo

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torre_Boldone

On the discussion page of each I proceeded to insert the changes made. The contributions on the articles that I have assigned to Scanzorosciate and Moscato di Scanzo have been carried out scrupulously, thanks to the numerous sources I have provided. Specifically, regarding Scanzorosciate, I preferred to rewrite the “Origins” section, which required a new user to carry out a check, in addition to the fact that the text was devoid of sources. Regarding the section "contemporary age", linking to what had been by other users about sport, I added a paragraph related to an innovative and recent sports facility in the country. I also changed some out-of-date numerical data and implemented the “Infrastructure and transport” section, always relying on my knowledge as a citizen of Scanzo, but always verified by adequate sources. Here are the sources that supported my work:

Corrado Fumagalli, Rosciate e le sue colline. Negrone, Tribulina, Gavarno, Alberico da Rosciate, The Moscato di Scanzo, in Edizioni Prestigio Bergamo, 1994

www.beachvolleybergamo.com

Specifically, regarding Moscato di Scanzo I have added some content for each section of the text. In some cases I have made corrections by writing with a more appropriate style and language. I added links that led directly to other explanatory pages existing in wikipedia, correcting incorrect links. Finally, I added two important paragraphs about the associated companies and the cultural characteristics and production attitudes.

As for the contribution on Pedrengo's English page, I have added essential but important content that determines what stands out in the country: the villas and historic residences. For a more exhaustive exploration of these places I have added the reference link in the paragraph itself.

The website from which I took info is:

www.comune.pedrengo.bergamo.it

As for the Torre Boldone page, I instead updated the number of inhabitants in the infobox table, by making an appropriate search on the site: www.istat.it

I made a couple of changes regarding the mapping of the Scanzo library and the one of Alzano on the site www.streetmap.org using my username "Nocciola2021"

During the writing of my research I had only one interaction with a member of the community who made a clarification on the Scanzorosciate discussion page, to which I agreed by thanking him appropriately. I look forward to any further feedback from the community.
