Pineapple Tidbits is a party game that originated in the U.S. state of Indiana and is typically played with a can of Our Family® Pineapple Tidbits, although it can be played with any perishable food item. The game is played by at least 3 players, although it can be played with as many people as desired.

History[edit]

Pineapple Tidbits originated on June 17, 2021 from a group of bored kids in Summitville, Indiana, who started by rolling a can of Our Family® Pineapple Tidbits.

Gameplay[edit]

The game is a high-stakes fast-paced game where a group of people, at least 3, rolls a can of perishable food in a circle, although Our Family® Pineapple Tidbits is recommended for the best experience. It should be noted; however, that the group must be organized in a triangle as opposed to a circle once the amount of players has been reduced to three, and a rectangle at two.

How to play[edit]

  • Arrange the group in a shape where everybody is facing one another.
  • Roll the can in the middle of the circle, and whoever the top of the can is facing goes first.
  • That person starts off by rolling the can to another person in the group.
  • That person rolls it to another person and so on.
  • The last person in the circle wins.

Rules[edit]

  • You must catch the can with at least one hand on top (or barely on the side).
  • You must roll the can quickly, but not so quick as to maximize the chance for bodily harm.
  • If the can rolls out of the circle, and nobody catches it the person who is closest to the can is out and must go stand at the "Wall of Shame".
  • If somebody is injured in any form that prohibits them from playing and they automatically are given the victory.
  • The can must be rolled, not thrown. If a player throws the can, they are automatically removed from the game.
  • The honorary punishment for losing the game is death, although the actual punishment isn't much of anything.
