This template uses ParserFunctions; therefore, it should not be substituted with {{subst: }}.

Usage

{{ObfuscatePenguin/Sandbox/3 | service level (1–11) | detail type }}

where

• service level specifies the level of service to Wikipedia reached by the editor, and
• detail type is one of the following options.
  • article – returns either "a" or "an", depending on the name of the service level
  • name – the name of the service level, e.g. Yeoman Editor
  • type – the award type, e.g. Service Badge
  • text – complete sentence, e.g. This editor is an Experienced and Established Editor, and is entitled to display this Service Badge
  • image – returns the linked image, e.g. [[Image:Editor - white ribbon - 0 pips.jpg]]
  • altarticle – returns either "a" or "an", depending on the alternate name of the service level
  • altname – the alternate name of the service level, e.g. Most Excellent Grognard
  • alttype – the alternate award type, e.g. 1937 Wikipedia First Edition
  • alttext – alternate complete sentence, e.g. This editor is a Novato, and is entitled to display this Wikipedia Picture Story Book
  • altimage – returns the linked alternate image, e.g. [[Image:Tutnum1.jpg]]
  • ribbon – returns the linked ribbon image, e.g. [[Image:Grandtutnumribbon.jpg]]
  • template – returns the template, as given on the Service Awards article
  • alttemplate – returns the alternate template, as given on the Service Awards article
