About me: BA degree in speech. Post graduate work in human communication at DePauw University. Eventually employed as Corporate Director of Internal Communication with a fortune 500 consumer electronics company, until 1973. Then founded an independent management consulting firm that specializes in optimizing organizational and management-employee communication effectiveness. This firm has been in continuous service for more than 40 years.

Separately, but concurrently with my professional career, I began a 45-year independent research in the evolution of English language translations of the Bible, specifically investigating the great disparity that exists among more than 300 different English language translations.

From this life-long work, I have become ever-more fully persuaded that, ideally, there should be only one version of the Bible in any given language; because, the simple truth is that there can never be such a thing as more than one version of the truth that is equally trustworthy in any given language.

While I do not suggest that any current English language translation of the Bible is yet a "perfect" translation, I firmly believe that it is a very serious problem that many competing publishers claim exclusive "All Rights Reserved" proprietary, private ownership of any translation or version of the Bible, and that publishing and promoting significantly varying English language translations and paraphrases that deviate from literal, word-for-word translation accuracy is an even more grievous problem.

As an independent researcher, I have never been employed by nor paid either a salary, nor fees, nor honorariums, nor compensation in any form by any religious organization, nor by any organization that publishes or promotes any version, translation, or paraphrase of the Bible.
