Present interests include distributed cognition & collective thought, collective memory, Durkheim's social facts, linguistic relativity, and constructivism. added 3-23-11: research interests include distributed cognition and memory, comparative measurement (especially in relation to the self concept), and interaction between people and computers or using computers.
