Mark O'Shea Singer Songwriter is a recording artist originally from Dalby, Qld, Australia. He was born February 16th, 1977 and first came to prominence after winning a gold guitar trophy for Best New Talent at the 1996 Country Music Awards of Australia (CMAA).--Ozmusicexpert (talk) 22:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC) His record NONE OF THE ABOVE was released the same year.

He first visited Nashville in 1996 as part of an ensemble cast of Australian performers including Tommy Emmanuel, Lee Kernaghan and Troy Casser-Daly.

In 1997 he received his second CMAA award for his video "The Dreamer"--Ozmusicexpert (talk) 22:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC).

At age 22, he formed a band, ZINC, which relocated to LA where they wrote and recorded with hit producers Mark Hudson (Aerosmith and Ringo Star--Ozmusicexpert (talk) 22:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC)), Wally Gagel (Rolling Stones), and Eric Foster White (N'sync and Britney Spears). Mark co-wrote every track on the band's debut album, "MAKINGSENSEOFMADNESS."

He released 1 studio album, NONE OF THE ABOVE on ABC Country in 1996 and another album in 2004, as a member of the band ZINC. Zinc's first single, "The Morning After" debuted at #22 on the ARIA Charts--Ozmusicexpert (talk) 22:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC).

In 2009 he started a duo O'SHEA with his wife, Jay O'Shea, and was a finalist on season 2 of , CMT's Can You Duet--Ozmusicexpert (talk) 22:32, 28 June 2010 (UTC). The duo placed 5th.

O'SHEA are currently working on a full length studio album with producer Mark Moffatt and touring with American country acts such as Phil Vassar.
