I developed an interest in the Napoleonic period in 1981 through miniatures wargaming. This, in turn, led me to read extensively on the campaigns and battles of the era while building a small library of reference materials on the period. I have been an active member of the Napoleonic Wargame Club since 1998 [1]. I have also been part of the design and playtest team for several PC games covering the Napoleonic Wars [2].
