I created an account before, but sadly, because I am an inexperienced user, I got blocked before I could even learn how to read the message that told me that I was going to be blocked. N00b? Yes, yes I am. Frustrated, yes. Honestly, the only reason I have an account is because I'm assigned to edit some wiki pages for one of my freshman college courses. This assignment is supposed to show us that wikipedia is an unreliable source because anyone can post anything, without regard to its truth (which is another point we are supposed to learn, because we are journalism majors). Of course, we already knew that.

I am a student at Arkansas State University. I also write for the ASU Herald.

It would turn out that everything I have tried to do here has been threatened and deleted by a certain high school kid who has been "fighting vandalism" since mid-November 2006. Seriously kid, get out and go do something... I mean, even the communications professors at my school said that my articles were notable, and they have degrees.... lots of degrees.

Needless to say, I'm rather upset with the way this wikipedia thing works. Someone with less than a high school degree is competing with people who hold doctorates...
